What You Might Have Missed On Wizkid’s Ginger Video

StarBoy Music leader, Wizkid finally unveil the visuals to his chart-topping single ‘Ginger’ which featured Burna Boy and it was of course starboy-esque.

The video was directed by Wizkid’s close associate, Meji Alabi for JM Films and you probably were too caught up in the euphoria of the video that you probably didn’t notice these things;

1. Eyo Masquerade

Wizkid’s third studio album is named ‘Made in Lagos’ and the Eyo Masquerade is synonymous to Lagos. The white-clad masquerades which is said to represent the spirits of the dead can be seen on a raised platform while others danced on.

2. Wizkid-styled Singlet

This is probably the most obvious, yet you could have missed it. Wizkid wore a singlet – or say a sleeveless cardigan over his shirt but it was styled differently. Rather than wear the singlet the normal way, StarBoy put his head through one of the arms and it’s generating quite the buzz.

3. Wizkid and Burna Boy playing Ayo

Burna Boy and Wizkid playing Ayo can surely not be missed in the video but they weren’t playing with the normal seeds, they were playing with diamonds!

4. Wizkid’s Legwork.

WizKid doesn’t force anything and dancing for StarBoy isn’t forced either. The singer on two different time showed off his legwork and it was a sight to behold.
